The Digital Resource Development Process

AgGateway is truly member driven in that relies on its members to bring forward connectivity challenges to be addressed and managed by the organization. Member volunteers actively work on projects that gain consensus across member companies, and AgGateway staff provide support throughout the process that creates an implementable solution and ensures enduring viability through regular evaluation and updating.

Two segments of the organization are assigned specific responsibilities to this work:

1. Portfolio Management Center

The Portfolio Management Center helps guide and support AgGateway’s Working Groups. It helps new groups get started, encourages consistent practices, and shares updates so members can understand what work is happening across AgGateway. Working Groups are the engines of value creation and engagement. Working Groups do the actual work to develop digital resources within AgGateway, helping to solve interoperability issues and move the whole industry forward.

2. Digital Resource Center

The Digital Resource Center is where AgGateway organizes and maintains the digital tools, standards, and resources created by its working groups. It helps make sure those resources are published, easy to find, and kept useful over time for members and the broader industry.
