Agrisemantics helps AgGateway make agricultural data easier to understand and share by supporting common terms, definitions, and other resources that preserve the meaning of information as it moves between systems. This work helps companies and organizations use data more consistently across the agriculture industry. Members can find more information here.

The Directory Oversight Committee helps guide the ongoing management and improvement of AGIIS, the Agricultural Industry Identification System. AGIIS is a shared industry directory that supports accurate identification of companies, locations, packaged products, and related business information across agriculture, helping organizations use consistent data for business transactions and system-to-system communication. The ADAPT Committee oversees AgGateway’s work related to ADAPT, including the ADAPT Framework, AgGateway supported ADAPT Plugins and related tools and resources, and the ADAPT Standard. The committee brings together the technical, business, outreach, and standards-related work that has developed over time so members have one place to coordinate updates, support adoption, and help ADAPT continue serving the needs of agricultural field data exchange. The Standards and Guidelines Committee helps AgGateway review, approve, and maintain the digital resources that support data exchange across agriculture. The committee provides a central place for members to keep these resources accurate, useful, and aligned with industry needs so organizations can share information more consistently and effectively. The Communications Committee oversees industry outreach and information dissemination about AgGateway activities, initiatives, achievements, and collaborations through its websites, press releases, monthly newsletter, and social media. Members can find more information here.

The Conference Committee advises and assists the development of AgGateway’s two North American in-person conferences, including recommending speakers, session topics, and event themes, initiating post conference evaluation and ongoing improvement, and weighing in on venue search process.
